Watch the First Skating Lesson

Step 1: Watch the first skating lesson video and start by trying the two foot glide position. You can do this in your ice skates, roller skates or even without skates at first to get used to the element before using your ice or roller skates. You can do this at home, at the park, at the rink or anywhere you want to in Sparks.

Make a Skating Video for the Instant Skating Coach

Step 2: Go to the Instant Skating Coach, select Ice Skating or Roller Skating and choose the first element, Two Foot Glide Position. Then, using your phone, take a short video of the Two Foot Glide Position and choose the Evaluate button in the Instant Skating Coach. You can do this anywhere you would like to in Sparks.

Get Feedback from the Instant Skating Coach

Step 3: After clicking on the Evaluate button, the website will take your short video and the Instant Skating Coach will provide you with detailed feedback including corrections and a full analysis on what you did well. Then find a place in Sparksto practice the skating skills that you have learned.

Choose Where to Take Your Skating Lessons Next

Step 4: You can then apply the recommendations that were made to you by the Instant Skating Coach, do the element again, and resubmit the video. Or, you can continue onto watching the next skating lesson video, trying it out, making the next video and doing the next evaluation, and so on. You can take these skating lessons anywhere you want to in Sparks.

Watch a lesson, put on your skates, practice what you've learned and return to the lesson whenever you want a refresher. You can continue building your skating skills in Sparks at your own pace.
